On February 9, 2008, ten determined individuals took it upon themselves to establish Delta Epsilon Psi: Mu Colony and become leaders in the city and community of Lubbock, Texas. The Brothers were able to overcome doubters and critics on their journey to become part of this exclusive Brotherhood. By coming together and working as one, the Brothers adopted the principles of Brotherhood, Discipline, and Commitment and relayed the dream that the Founding Fathers had during the establishment of this prominent Fraternity. As this colony continues to grow, the Brothers have gained exposure for their contributions in their area, as well as credibility for the Fraternity and colonies and chapters nationwide. As with any other organization, the Brothers that cross into this Fraternity understand the time and sacrifice it takes to run and manage all of the internal responsibilities. Delta Epsilon Psi: Mu Colony is selective in the members they intake as they take quality over quantity. 
As the motto of the Fraternity states: "We don't turn boys into men, but men into leaders," the Brothers at Mu Colony will continue to mold the leaders of tomorrow by overcoming the trials and tribulations of today.
